Yahoo GeoCities Closing. I Moved My Clients To Host Gator.

One of my clients received this notice and asked for my help in retrieving her files from the GeoCities site. If you have a web site with GeoCities, be sure to download and backup your files by right-clicking on your page(s) and choose Save Page As and place them in a folder with the same name as your website on your computer.

Don't get me wrong. I'm sure that Yahoo has improved their technology, but I remember building my client's old site using their Page Builder and from a professional standpoint, it wasn't as workable as I had hoped.
